Doing chores today I realized it would be a shame not to share the programs I was listening to with you all.   There are a number of other things I try to keep up with, but occasionally something is so amazing or vitally important I pass them on.

Each one is just under a half hour long; odds are, you can figure out some way to fit listening/watching them into your schedule.  The Creation Today ones are great to share with your kids, too, especially when you watch the most recent one!

It had been a while since Creation Today had done a new show (they were busy with some seminar somewhere….), but the last couple of weeks they’ve gotten right back into it:

• What does Grand Canyon indicate?  An interview with Russ Miller, a man who’s ministry is to take people around the Grand Canyon area and show its many proofs for God’s timeline
• What is the best evidence for Biblical Creation?  They had a show with almost the same title recently, so I thought I’d already listened to it, but this one is a great interview with Carl Kerby.  His testimony, analogies from working as an air traffic controller and lightning speed video are awesome!
• I’ve got to update my iPod to catch this next one: What is evolution doing to our society? Is another interview with Carl Kerby. He’s even going to talk about video games!

Then, while I was preparing supper I started to catch up on my Ravi Zacharias podcasts.  This two part speech on why there is suffering and how can a person know what true good and evil are is so good I had to pass it on as well.  Note how he brings creation and God as Creator in toward the end. There is a reason the atheists are attacking us here!

We cannot afford to just slide along through life without thinking through the big issues.  Even if major suffering never crosses your thresh hold, it will happen to many around you.  Just saying things like, “Jesus loves you, it will be fine” doesn’t cut it!  But there are Biblical ways to look at the world that speak truth and hope to the deepest part of our souls.

But in all things showing ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,  II Corinthians 6:4-7
