Proverbs 8:24-26

When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

What are “depths”? The oceans.

Where does the water for a natural fountain come from? Underground.

I mention the HydroPlate Theory which was developed by a creation scientist taking verses like this seriously.

And then that “dust.”

It could just mean atmospheric dust, but look at these verses:

  • Job 28:2 Iron is taken out of the earth [same word], and brass is molten out of the stone.
  • Isaiah 2:19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth [same word],

We discuss this idea:

Periodic Table of Elements, photo credit: 2012rcThe “highest part” of the elements are up there with hydrogen and helium. Could this be what God had inspired King Solomon to write long before anyone understood about atoms?

David Rives Ministries

The Creation Club logoI’m now working with David Rives to curate and develop his community forum website The Creation Club. You can contact me over there, to see how you can share your own photos or articles. I’m really hoping to have lots more young voices as well as grown ups participate who love creation and their Creator!

Here’s the video using my first script I wrote for David. It’s amazing what they’ve done and it is such a fun topic to learn about!

Sending a Care Package to Ken Ham

I’ve been recommending sending him and other creation speakers coloring pages for over a year. Now, I decided to set the example and put one together ourselves.

Coloring Pages Care Package for Ken Ham with the kidsI’m holding a copy of Did Adam and Eve have Bellybuttons since I mention Ken Ham several times in there and he got me thinking about what God might have been up to at creation.

Besides that I sent along a CD and download card for my hymn music since Ham was a key person I thought of while composing the tune for The Bible Stands at the end of the album. You can check it out for yourself at CheriFields.com.
