Several months ago, another Creation facebook page mentioned a radio program I hadn’t run into before. Best of all, it had a podcast so I could “subscribe” and have it automatically added to my rotation of CCE [Continuing Creation Education] programs for during chore time.

Speaking of which, young people, if you having figured it out yet, deciding to do chores without being told and finding something fun to listen to while you do them makes a HUGE difference!

From the first program I knew Scripture On Creation was a great find. Dr. Ben Scripture is a scientist who knows his Bible pretty well (I bet wanting to live up to the last name helps). He’s got a pleasant style, a great cohost (Scott Kump), and the 14 minute format is just long enough to finish up those last few tasks without having to restart the next show constantly.

After listening for a while, I heard them mention the show’s facebook page. Awesome!

All of you readers are more than welcome to contact me here and comment any time. I read everything and respond to all serious interactions. But there seems to be something intimidating about a “website”- only a handful of you ever do talk to me. I get it. I’m the same way.

Facebook is different. It’s informal and when the people running a page aren’t overly busy, you can easily talk to them by just clicking a button or two. Plus, if you’re there, you’re already signed in.

So, I sent Dr. Scripture a note letting him know how excited I was to find him. Some time later I asked what turned out to be the pivotal question, “are you sure Solomon wrote Proverbs 30?” It took all of two minutes and then I forgot about it.

Apparently when Scott Kump heard the question was from this CS4K lady, he thought it’d be great to interview me. So, it’s all his fault doing. Well, his and God’s!

English: A Sennheiser Microphone

Anyway, after I borrowed my church’s landline phone and kid-free office, we were able to record an interview. Jesus was with me and those two guys are so nice I was able to relax enough to actually sound like I know what I’m talking about.

And kids, you know how your recorded voice makes you sound like a chipmunk? It’s the microphone. A good sound system doesn’t make you sound too weird. ๐Ÿ˜€

So, want to hear the voice behind the articles here? Want to check out the Scripture On Creation show for yourself?

Part 2

Thanks, Dr. Scripture and Scott Kump! And thank you, Jesus!

Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. Malachi 3:16

Thanks. It was nerve wracking needing to listen to myself (like having my piano recital recorded or something), but it was really good. The only conclusion I can come up with is that Jesus was speaking through me. ๐Ÿ™‚

I know! All I did was tell them what I was doing. They decided to spread it out. God is amazing and there are a lot of great servants out there. ๐Ÿ™‚
