Submerged Ice Age Ruins are Everywhere!

If you remember from the Ice Age posts, we figure it took about 500 years for the ice sheets to be the biggest they got before melting. When all that water was trapped on top of the continents, it wasn’t filling up the ocean.

All scientists figure that the water levels were up to 394 feet (120 meters) lower at the peak of the Ice Age before slowly rising to the level we see today. As we know, people were busy spreading all over the planet during this time, so it makes sense that they would leave behind submerged ruins for us to find in the shallow seas around the world.
