“Yet there is such a fullness in the words of Scripture that the threefold meaning of “according to Christ Jesus” given above by no means exhausts the scope of these words.” A. W. Pink The Ability of God p 45
In English: The Bible’s words are so full, even these three meanings for “according to Christ Jesus” we talked about don’t cover everything it’s showing us.
Ever since I learned DNA has meaning forward, backward, and folded, I’ve noticed God doing the same thing in His Word.
As a teen, I was part of a Bible study where each of us was asked to study the same Bible passage for a week and then we’d get together and talk about what we found. It was amazing how many different things we saw. No one had seen what I discovered, and I hadn’t noticed what each of the others shared. No one had seen exactly the same things as the rest. It was exciting stuff!
Turns out this is normal for people who come to the Bible. It’s why 50 preachers can preach on the same passage and each sermon helps us in a different way.
And the folds? If you only study a topic in one place in the Bible, say “love” in I Corinthians 13, you’ll miss a lot of what God has to say. It’s kind of like a puzzle with pieces scattered all over the place.
Once you realize this happens because the same Author wrote both the Bible and the DNA code, you see wonderful things everywhere.
Another analogy coming tomorrow!
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. II Peter 1:21

I discovered a nice analogy all along the Bible, Cain and Abel, Abraham representing Israel having a son fleshily (Ismael) and a son from God’s promise (Isaac), Israel wanting a king fleshily (Saoul) and a promised king (David), and since then they’re in the desert yet.The ultimate fleshy king has to arrive : The antichrist, but the promised one arrived already: Jesus Christ!.
Cain killed Abel, same as Israel acts sometimes; like a very rebel son of God, and Jesus is Abel of course.
Blessings.
