The Early Church and Beyond
Acts 4:24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
Jesus’ followers were facing the first wave of persecution because of their commitment to telling others about him. What did they start their prayer meeting with? Reminding themselves of God the Creator!
And they were hardly the first:
II Kings 19:15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
Nehemiah 9:6 Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
And I didn’t even mention the Psalms…

It was exciting to realize probably the only two families on earth who are producing creation content with our kids were on the air together. Pat Roy with Creation Quest has an amazing new radio show interviewing members of the creation community. The other day he had me on as a guest. I pray we are an encouragement to many families to do something about the fallout in Christian youth:

Then there’s the most informative creation show out there. Pastor Bob Enyart has been active in the creation community for decades and isn’t afraid to take on subjects that aren’t completely ‘safe’.
I especially enjoyed his recent interview with Dr. Rob Carter of Creation Ministries International. The main subject was DNA and it was amazing how much we have learned about this molecule of life just in the past few years.
The clip we play of what a scale model of DNA would be like is just the tip of the iceberg!
Water of Life
Most of the information we got was from an encyclopedia. The interesting stuff at the end came from this NOVA article on PBS. Peter Tyson may have been trying to tell us how to search for aliens, but we were amazed at how well designed water is for our own life.
